Helen Brown (Criger)
Helen L. Brown, 88, a “snowbird” from Silver Lake, NY (originally from LeRoy, NY) who resided in Englewood, FL winters passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on August 26.
Mrs. Brown was born June 17, 1930 in Batavia, NY, a daughter of the late Robert and Hazel Criger. She was a retiree of Chloride Eletro Network in Caledonia. She enjoyed spending time with family, particularly attending sporting events of her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She also enjoyed travel including many cruises and loved her warm, sunny days in Florida.
She is the wife of Kenneth L. Brown (deceased) of Byron, NY. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Karen Chenaille, husband Mike and Lorrie Heidengren both of Englewood, Florida; three grandchildren: Jeff Kramarz (Amy) Travis Smith (Kerri), Kenny Kramarz (Becky) and five great grandchildren: Adam Kramarz, Erica Kramarz, Jaidyn Smith, Lexi Powers and Jagger Smith.
Helen is predeceased by three sisters, Nancy Aspinal, Elizabeth (Betty) Carson and Mary Ellen Davis.
Friends may call Wednesday, August 29, 2018 at the Cameron Brady & Steuber Funeral Home, 111 Wolcott Street, LeRoy from 10:00 -11:30 A.M. at which time a short service will be held. Burial will follow at North Byron Cemetery following the service. Family and friends are welcome to a buffet luncheon at the LeRoy Country Club at approximately 1:00 P.M.
