Obituary for Carol Rapp
SCOTTSVILLE - November 30, 2019 at age 92. Predeceased by her husband of 62 years, Calvin; daughter, Roberta Brunelle. Survived by daughter Andrea (Peter) Pellegrino, son-in-law Norman Brunelle, grandchildren Alexander and Marjorie Brunelle, sister-in-law Virginia McMullen, several nieces and nephews and special family friends. Carol was born in 1927 in Presque Isle, Maine and traveled to several areas of the country before settling in Rochester and then Scottsville, where she embraced her home life and her community.
She was ahead of her time, attending Macalester College in Minnesota, then working as Executive Assistant to the president of Rochester Savings Bank. She was an avid reader and crossword expert, who also enjoyed dancing and performing in theater in her college days.
Carol loved her family fiercely, and her New England sensibility, keen resourcefulness and cheery, tenacious approach made her an unforgettable character to those lucky enough to know her.
