Corinne A. Maher passed peacefully on November 5, 2020, at the age of 94,with family by her side. Predeceased by her devoted husband of 60 years, James.
She is survived by her sons, James of The Villages, Florida, Edward (Loretta) of Bowling Green, OH, and daughters Patricia (Gerald) Fernaays LeRoy, NY, and Ann (William) Baker Allentown, PA, 11 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren.
She was born February 7, 1926 to Anna and Edward McDowell in Uniontown, PA.
Corinne was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Corinne was graduated from St. John’s HS in 1943.
Retired from Genesee Memorial Hospital in Batavia, a job which she loved.
Corinne was a devoted member of St. Peter’s Church, a member of The Third Order, and the Trinity bible study. Corinne spent the last 8 years as a resident of The Village Green Nursing Home where she was beloved by many for her joyful spirit.
Her rite to Christian Burial will be held at 11 am on Monday, November 9, at Our Lady of Mercy Church, 44 Lake St. LeRoy, NY. Arrangements Cameron Brady & Steuber Funeral Home 111 Wolcott St. LeRoy.
