Scottsville -
Born on June 19th, 1932 in Fillmore, NY to Marlie and Harriet (Gross) Brigham. Joyce lost her courageous battled with Alzheimer’s on June 9th, 2021. She was just shy of her 89th birthday. She was predeceased by her husband, Ronald Ott, parents Marlie & Harriet Brigham, her brothers Donald & William (Bill) Brigham and her Uncle Grant Gross. Grant recently celebrated his 102nd birthday.

Before becoming a mom Joyce was a model for Eastman Kodak where she met and married her husband, Ron. She worked several years as a mail carrier in the Scottsville/Caledonia area and then spent many wonderful years at Coopervision, Inc at their Scottsville location. She was an involved member of the Presbyterian Church, Scottsville Woman’s Auxiliary, Garden Club and the Red Hats where she maintained many beautiful friendships.

Joyce can be most remembered for her beautiful blue eyes, her tight hugs, a most engaging smile and a genuine desire to enjoy life. She had a passion & true talent for drawing & painting and loved to garden.

However, Joyce’s biggest loves in life were her children: Gayle Schneider (Troy), Jayne Knowlton and Kathy Robinson (Mark); her grandchildren: Troy Schneider (Nicole), Tom Knowlton, Anna Schneider, Peyton Robinson & Trevor Robinson and her Great grandchildren: Gabriella, Lukas, Harper and Jaxson.

A Graveside service will be held 11 A.M. on Saturday, June 26th, 2021 at the Pine Grove Cemetery in Fillmore, New York. Gayle, Jayne and Kathy - so sorry to hear of the loss of your mother I remember her fondly when we were kids playing in the yard and building snow forts. What a sweet woman, may she rest in Gods hands
