Obituary for Jacob Benjamin Farrell

Brockport. NY; Thursday, December 30, 2021 at the age of 37.


Jacob (Jake) Farrell passed away unexpectedly on December 30th, 2021 at age 37. Jacob was a proud veteran of the United States Army and served with the 10th Mountain Division, 4th Battalion, 31st Infantry, Charlie Company in Djibouti, Africa (Operation Enduring Freedom) and Baghdad (Operation Iraqi Freedom); earning two Commendation Medals. He was passionate about helping other veterans and it was his goal to make that his profession. He enjoyed the outdoors and working out at the gym. He was an avid reader and war history buff. A lifelong Buffalo Bills fan, he enjoyed watching the games with his family, win or lose. Jacob's biggest love was his family. He made us all laugh with his amazing sense of humor and if you knew him, you loved him. He will be dearly missed.

Predeceased by his Sister, Danielle Crawford. Survived by his Son, Jace Alexander Seguss; Father, James (Elizabeth) Farrell Jr.; Mother, Caroline (Ricky Spock) Baars; Grandmother, Roberta Basich; Sisters and Brothers, Erinn (Joseph) Sisson, Jarod (Anna MacKenzie) Farrell, Caitlin (Michael Spitale Jr.) Dwyer, Jesse (Caty Moothart) Crawford, Katrina (David) Jacobi; Nieces and Nephew, Leah Sisson, Emma Dwyer, Ericka (Haley Burton) Dwyer, Jersey Dwyer, Dominic Jacobi, and Aria Jacobi; numerous Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins.

Services will be held in his honor on Saturday, February 12th, 2022 at 11:30am at Lakeshore Community Church, 3651 Latta Road, Rochester, NY 14612.
