Obituary for Diane P. Wunder

SCOTTSVILLE - passed away in her husband’s arms after a short illness on March 31, 2022. Predeceased by her sister Judy Laurette. Survived by her husband Frank. Daughters Deborah (Ed) Luft, Eileen (Rick) McFadden, Linda Wunder. Grandchildren Brandon (Liliya), Casey (Jim) Gallo, Amber (Bret) Badger, Mason McFadden, 5 Great Grandchildren, Sister Janis (Gary) Revier, Sister-In-Law’s Judy Brennan, Nancy (Robert) Bosdyk. Several Nieces and Nephews.Diane graduated from Rochester Business Institute in 1955 the same year she met her future husband, Frank. Diane and Frank were married on August 4, 1956 and had 66 great years together.

In 1960 they moved to their home in Scottsville. Diane was a stay at home Mom until her three daughters were in high school when she went to work for Heany Industries in Scottsville as their Office Manager. She was a Life Member of the Scottsville Volunteer Fire Department, and served as a medic on the ambulance for 15 years. Diane loved bowling, playing bridge, and was a licensed Ham Operator. Diane enjoyed staying up late talking to ham operators around the globe. Boating was one of her favorite activities handling any boat with great skill.

For the past 20 years Diane and Frank, enjoyed spending time at there winter get away in Hilton Head Island where she had many friends. Diane loved Scottsville and said she would never leave. She was a gentle soul who will be missed by her husband and three daughters, as well as anyone who knew her.Services and Interment will be held at the convince of the family at Holy Angels Cemetery.
