Obituary for Michael P. Kirchgessner
Passed away November 17, 2022 at age 67.
Predeceased by his parents Joseph and Laura, his brothers, Joseph, Carl and Mark Kirchgessner.
He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Marie and daughter, Danyelle (Daniel) Hayes, grandson, Carter Hayes, sister Elaine Saetta and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
Michael was a graduate of RIT and became an engineer in Global Telecommunications. In 1985 he married his best friend and love of his life, Marie. In 1986 his daughter Danyelle was born and was the apple of his eye. Michael enjoyed playing golf with his best friend Bob and spending time with him and his wife Jackie every Christmas season.
Michael had several brothers who predeceased him, but his sister Elaine always held a special place in his heart. Over the last two years the best moments of his life included his grandson, Carter. He cherished every moment and throughly enjoyed watching him grow up.
Friends may call Tuesday, November 22, 2022 from 4-7 P.M. at J.H. Cameron Funeral Home, 26 Rochester St., Scottsville. His Funeral Mass will be held at 10 AM on Wednesday, November 23, 2022 at St. Martin de Porres Parish, St. Mary’s Church, 99 Main St., Scottsville. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, 2461 Lake Ave., Rochester, NY 14612. Memorial may be made to Wilmont Cancer Center 601 Elmwood Ave., Rochester, NY 14642.
