Dad, I keep thinking of you and it pains. Your phone calls asking "when you coming over?", even if I had just left your house. Just last week you called "I could use some jello, maybe I could use a meatloaf too! " I am going to miss those phone calls, or helping you out with anything you needed or wanted to go too. I know you missed mom terribly, so glad you two can now be together. I will cherish my memories of you forever! I miss you so much and I know as a family we didn't say it much, but I love you dad!

We will miss Vern. He and Ann became our friends when our daughter, Susan married Kevin, their youngest child. Our families have shared many wonderful times together over the years. Susan and Kevin gave us two wonderful grandchildren. This gave us more opportunities to see Ann and Vern.

The “lot” out back on Vern’s property was the gathering place for many cookouts and parties that we attended. We lost Ann in 2015, but Vern still stopped over to Sue & Kevin’s for Birthday parties and Holidays. I will miss making him his “Pumpkin Nut Roll” every Thanksgiving.

We grew to love Vern and Ann. They both will be truly missed.
